Wellington illustrator and textile designer Hannah Webster meticulously hand-draws illustrations of Aotearoa's native forests to explore her relationship with the world around her. “I like the complexity of drawing a tree: it’s so different from sketching something solid like a house, where it’s easy to understand the basic structure and design", Hannah said in an Urbis magazine interview. "There’s a distinct beauty in the small details and subtle hues."
