A Shot of Whisky Limited Edition Print by Cornelia Parker
To mark her solo exhibition, which will reopen City Gallery Wellington on 10 October 2026, Cornelia Parker has created a special print for purchase.
For A Shot of Whisky, Parker spat a mouthful of Scottish Whisky directly onto the plate, and the translucent liquid forms a dark mass when exposed to ultraviolet light. The prints are polymer photogravures, hand-pulled etchings made with a method that goes back to the beginnings of photography.
