To mark her solo exhibition, which will reopen City Gallery Wellington on 10 October 2026, Cornelia Parker has created a special print for purchase. 

A Few Shots (and their Shadows) is available as a limited edition of 25 signed prints, made with Parker’s unique interpretation of the photogravure process. By placing drinking glasses onto a photosensitive plate and then exposing them to ultraviolet light, the shadows cast function as a photographic positive.  

The result is a still life formed not by an object’s presence, but by its absence—an image shaped by light, void, and trace. The work continues Parker’s long-standing pursuit of reimagining everyday objects and materials to reveal the histories, tensions, and possibilities they carry. 

The artist had generously gifted this edition for collectors in advance of the public exhibition.

All proceeds from the sale of this edition directly support the presentation of Parker’s exhibition at City Gallery Wellington.

Pick up and Delivery

The prints will be ready by the end of August 2026.

If you would like your print shipped, all packing, shipping, insurance, postage and associated charges will be at the expense of the purchaser.
